I am phobic of thunder. I cry nearly everytime! Dad and close friends text me/call me to make sure I am ok.

My best mate and housemate at the time left a date to come sit with me during a storm!!

I love it got my doors and windows open.

My dogs have been acting funny for the last couple of hours so I guess they knew it was coming.

My Grandma hated it reminded her of the German Bombers bless her. She would go wheel herself into the pantry and sit it out.

I have heard stories of golfers getting struck by lightening, people standing under a tree while it was raining etc. I love the rain but the thunder is something else.

My mum is like that. She would close the curtains and put loud music on when we were kids.

Just got back from three weeks island hopping out there. (Saw you on who’s nearby by my geography you were the next island down)

Used to go down to the beach and watch the storms out at sea in the evening. I love that simple pleasure

I love watching a good thunderstorm and remembering my grandad saying the sound of thunder was just God upstairs moving the beer barrels across the floor!

Grandma used to turn the mirror to the wall as well for some weird reason. She was tough as old boots but did not like the lightning.

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

Love watching electrical storms, they are kinda mesmerising, particularly ones out at sea at night...The way it lights up the sky and the earth just for that instant.

One of the true spectacles of this amazing planet we all inhabit...

Although I'd imagine getting hit by lightening would make your day a little bad...

Here and There

Love it. Though did once see an oak tree struck by lightning and when we went to take a look after the storm had passed there were shards of oak the size of gate posts embedded in the ground all around what was left of the trunk.

Ha ha no but when you are cruising about with WiFi I tended to look at who was nearby when in the middle of the ocean.
