For those that have been in love more than once how long does it take you to fall in love

The right place

It’s been different every time.

From days to months.

I question now whether I actually loved my ex husband

Saying that , I’ve been in love twice - one took only a couple of days , the other took a couple of months

I question whether my ex was ever in love with me. I was in love with her. But always kinda knew she'd leave.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

With one person it took years before we realised we loved each other.

"For those that have been in love more than once how long does it take you to fall in love"

It's 6mins 52 seconds.

6mins 51 if she has the girls on show.

I have definitely fallen in lust faster than that, and he didn't even have to wave his cock around.

I'll start another thread.

Two months for my first ever boyfriend (and longest relationship).

My last (and second longest relationship) a fair bit longer.

Somewhere In The Ether…

It varies for me depending upon who I’ve presently been with.

Sometimes it grows from a tiny ember whilst other times it ignites suddenly like an explosion.

Ooooo I’m all poetic tonight

The last 2 were instant. Before that it took a while, but whether it's actual love so early is another question. In love maybe, but actual love, who knows.

I think deep seated love takes time and it never leaves you

Once a slow burn

Once the thunderclap. Instant. Heartstopping. Body shivering. Brain melting. Speechless, a mumbling wreck. Stomach tumbling. Nerve ends tingling.

But they don't feel the same...

I fell in love in an instant when I touched my neighbour's wife's hand while taking coffee out to friends. She felt the same and she became my 2nd wife.

I still love her totally despite being divorced for 20 years and we never speak.

Thankfully I am still friends with my 1st wife as we realised we met too young and were best mates not lovers.

So I guess I am saying I think we only ever love one person despite maybe marrying others.

Not sure I have answered the OP's question though ...

I still love everyone I have ever truly loved, but as they were then. I don't like some of them now but my love for them means I would still be there if they really needed me.

I'm still not sure I was in love with my husband.

I might be in love with my LTP, but I don't know for sure.

The one girl I really fell deeply in love with all it took was that first kiss, we'd met a couple of weeks before Christmas 2007 through friends and everytime we'd been around each other I could just feel this burning chemistry between us, it was just in the air and every glance at each other gave me butterflies. Then on Christmas eve we were out with friends in a nightclub and at midnight when they did the countdown I just decided to be brave and strode up, pulled her close to me and kissed her, it was probably the most romantic moment of my life and I fell in love with her scarily hard instantly! I'm not sure I'll ever get to feel like that again, it took a long time to get over her when life/work circumstances broke us up 6 months later

You'll know it when you feel it. And it's super clear. So if you're unsure if you've felt it you haven't... not yet. Fingers crossed you do

"It's taken me longer to work out whether it's love or lust... "

Definitely that, but it can be between a few hours, to 9 months if I am falling.

I can fall out of love quickly too though.

I do also know pretty quickly whether its likely I could possibly fall for a person, or 100% never fall for them.
