Just back from Bigbury-on-sea, and well sun burnt I use Nivea sun block which states to be none greasy, but actually it's greasy as F**k and stays that way which is no good when you ride a motorbike because if you put it on your face its going to get all over the inside of you crash helmet.

So who knows of a good sun cream that actually dries nice on your skin and doesn't stay all greasy ? come on people help me out here

I don't think I've ever found sun protection which is truly non greasy - even the ones which say they are tend to leave some sort of residue. The ones which are *least* greasy though are, in my experience, the gel types or something like Nivea's 'Protect and Refresh' which is a clear spray. So far as actual lotion/cream is concerned Piz Buin is usually absorbed very well.

As for your visor, couldn't you just clean your face with a wet wipe before putting the helmet on? Then reapply sun stuff when you stop as necessary.

I use Malibu dry oil spray, it's the best I've found so far.

No grease, really does dry as soon as on your skin & it's water resistant.

I only use SPF4, So ordered off Amazon but you can buy higher factors in the shops

I wish I knew. I changed from Nivea to Ambre Solaire. It's better but still a bit greasy. I can't afford to try loads of different ones. I've read good reviews about Supermarket own brands. They have higher star ratings for UVA/B.

Piz buin dry oil spray is good and absorbs well, as does the piz buin sun cream

Also ambre solaire suncream

I really like the Malibu dry oil spray too - it's dead cheap at £2.99 from Savers (they do SPF 6 and 10), smells nice and I can spray my whole body including my back really quickly.

Maybe I'm putting too much on though but I personally find it does make my skin quite greasy.

Try Piz Buin lotion, they do an oil free option and it's great if you suffer from prickly heat too.

This Ambre Solaire pump spray is excellent: goes on watery, ie no dragging like a cream does.

P20 sun protection, its a liquid that dries on, no grease. Don't get it in your eyes though, ouchy and teary

I got the Nivea one this year, that dries almost instantly and is non-greasy and available in 10/15/20/30 factors.

I burnt badly through Boots Soltan factor 50 just before our holiday, inspire of reapplying every 90 minutes or so. I threw it out for our holiday and brought Piz Buin factors 50 and 30... Lovely stuff, absorbs quickly and no greasy feeling. The aftersun is great too. I'm quite fair and have a lovely golden tan now.

Put Soltan on a plastic label, leave it 15 minutes then wipe it off.

You will see it’s disolved the surface off the label

Now think, I am rubbing that into my skin

All of the clear sprays are only 3*. Morrisons own cream is 5* and the 15 is great, very light and fast absorbing, so I used a combo of both.

The branded ones are the worst, the uva rating of these aren't good.

Supermarkets owned branded is much better than the well known branded.

Some of sun creams can damage car paint work so remember to wash your hands after applying (if you're using your car/motor vehicle - not necessary if your just going on an inflatable banana ride)

It is expensive but once per day means it works out cost effective. And as naturists, we only need to worry about towels

Elta md skincare. Spf 40 and has Hyaluronic acid for hydration.

I have combination skin that is prone to break outs, but so far no reaction or oiliness with this one.
