Cooling down!

We have rain and a good storm starting here in Kent. Should cool it down nicely!

The lightning is rather impressive between the dark clouds.

The fans are ok but they just circulate warm air around sadly. Would be nice to have the heat during the day and cool at night.. If only

I’m wondering after this heat we’ve had, how many people still would like to live in Australia? We have this heat for at least 6 months of the year, with a further sweltering heat in the middle of summer.

A bit different living in it than enjoying it whilst on holiday!

It's like a furnace - I can't sleep and I can't function - and I can't stop saying " I'm so hot " on a loop - everyone wants to punch me in the face

I need it to cool the fuck down so I don't end up in hospital

I know what you mean!

When I'm at home what I do is fill a hot water bottle with cold water and put it in the freezer during the day. When I get back I put it on a tray in front of the fan, works a treat. I have the fan slightly above it and about 2 feet behind it.

That's a good idea, great way to keep cool.

We've tried wet wipes in the fridge,cold flanels etc.. Curtains shut during the day but still so warm.

It really does work, if you spray a fine mist of water on a towel and lay that on the bed that helps too!
