always makes me laugh when people claim they are shy and yet photos are on here of the faces and body shots and some action shots.

yet some claim to be too shy to meet at a club

so are you shy and retiring?

why. as just the same as pub or nightclub just sometimes sexual activity happens

I describe it as the difference between having confidence and having balls.

Having confidence is the ability to maintain your composure under preassure.

Having balls is the ability to put yourself under preassure in the first place.

Some people might have that balls to post revealing photos, but might lack the confidence to feel at ease going to a club.

No one ever believes me when I say I'm shy. I'm not all the time, but I do have my moments where I get shy because I'm self conscious. My shyness is closely linked with my confidence. How confident I am feeling at any particular time relates to how well i can get over or fight past my shyness.

only time i am shy is when im nervous about something and not knowing how it will turn out or if i really really like someone. so i get thus x

i know what you are saying, but i wouldnt go to a non swingers club on my own either, pub yes, club i wouldnt, but the swinging one id be nervous, hard to explain

I’m shy but I have learned through work go put on a public face and an air of confidence that I don’t have. I can post the pics because for the most part people won’t be seeing me in the flesh. And I’m not sure I’d have the confidence go go to a club x

I often get shy when making the first move. It really is all dependant on how I'm feeling.

Here you can, no-one can see your face, you cant see their reactions to you, and you can choose to talk to people or not, or you can sit and just watch without looking wierd. I think this is true. I'm quite shy and retiring myself but at heart I'm a bit of an exhibitionist. But it's that shyness and sometimes lack of confidence that can hold me back. Fab has been great for allowing me to partake in that side of my character without fear. Showing my arse to the world can be quite the thrill and rather liberating

I think there are different types of shy though - personally in face to face situations where you have to be outgoing and gregarious such as clubs, I'm not the best and am to an extent shy - doesn't stop me going to them but has perhaps limited my experience once there.

On here the ability to stop and think before posting something or sending a message allows me an avenue past that shyness to an extent - likewise with posting pics, I can spend time composing them and finding ones I am confident with if that makes sense?
