Gerry Cinnamon

He is going to be huge

Smashed every gig on the festival circuit

Sold out his tour at Christmas in minutes

A genuine independent artist with out the backing of a “major” label

Beginning to get some serious radio play

I can only describe him as a Scottish Ed Sheeran with the voice of Paulo Nutini

If you are serious about your music google him x

Have worked with both, Dream Wife only a couple of weeks ago..amazing live band and lovely too!

Can definitely recommend Public Service Broadcasting...Fast car to Florence.. sløtface...lions of dissent...Marmozets.

It is a good time at the moment for new and up and coming bands and artists.

There is a great little one day festival in Lincoln in November where you can catch a hell of a lot of the most amazing new bands and PSB all for about 26 quid.

The Joy Formidable. I wouldn't kick Ritzy out of bed. There's something so sexy about female guitar players and front-women.

Also Public Service Broadcasting, great band. Good concept. Looking forward to going to some festivals before summers end. Anybody going to the green man in south wales?

How did I ever cope in the days before YouTube and Spotify? I've met some great new bands (and some crap ones) in the last hour. New music is so exciting - thank you for the pointers

If you are local to Liverpool- check out Ian Prowse

He is the frontman of the 90’s band Pele

Who became the band Amsterdam

( wonderful back catalogue)

He runs the open mike night on a Monday at the Cavern club

The only rule is that their can be no covers!!!!

Artists who attend pay all their own stuff and sometimes an established band drop by just for a jam

"Can’t believe that this thread is 75 posts long and no one has mentioned

Gerry Cinnamon

He is going to be huge

Smashed every gig on the festival circuit

Sold out his tour at Christmas in minutes

A genuine independent artist with out the backing of a “major” label

Beginning to get some serious radio play

I can only describe him as a Scottish Ed Sheeran with the voice of Paulo Nutini

If you are serious about your music google him x"

Erratic Cinematic is a musical masterpiece but Gerry has been massive in and around Glasgow for a few years now. She’s A Belter and Diamonds in the Mud are absolute perfection

I've not listened to much of him, will probably pick up the album at some point. The bit that puts me off is that the whole crossover into GBX domain, which is definitely not my scene.

If you enjoy Teenage Fanclub, certainly their early stuff you might like Tony Molina if you’ve not listened to him .

I went and saw TFC a couple of years back and was shocked how old they were, then worked out it was about 25yrs since I’d last seen then and that all the old fellas at the gig were actually my age. That was scary
