I started yesterday with Elf, SANTA!!!!

Also in line is, Christmas Vacation, Love Actually, The Polar Express, The Santa Clause 1-3 and It's A Wonderful Life.

So what movie gets you feeling festive.

Sure was !

I took mum to see that when it first came out.

Afterwards, I asked if she'd enjoyed it and told her I thought the bit with Alan Rickman and Emma Thomson exchanging Christmas gifts was sad.

That elicited the following response :

'Upsetting !?!, I would have hit him with that CD and when he recovered I'd have been saying never mind the CD, where's that fkin necklace'

I just love "A Christmas Carol", any version but the Albert Finney musical is my fave. Also "Miracle on 34th St" and obviously "White Christmas" are wonderful movies that get me right into the mood.

Miracle on 34th Street, especially when he signs Jingle Bells ... Sob, sob.

We watched Home Alone 2 on Sat night and then went into Notts with our children and looked at the lights. That got me into the Christmas spirit.

Grey Friars Bobby. It always used to be on at Christmas time but havent seen it in years always makes me cry but always felt like Christmas was coming when it was on
