What do you, lads and lasses, look for? What makes you swipe right on someone?

And, if you saw someone from fab on there would you bring it up?

Initial pictures. I'll actually swipe based off of those. If we match then I'll read the bio. I'm fairly open minded and not looking for a partner so obviously my attention to detail isn't as necessary

I don’t think I have a set thing... just either something draws me to the pics or not! It’s all subjective anyway... it’s not until you chat that you find out if there’s any chemistry anyway...

My mate put me on tinder as a joke. I only lasted a few weeks. But seen so many fab men on there. They should at least change their pics, not putting the same ones on all websites

. But on the whole I prefer it... much sexier guys on there... not many from Hull but I don’t mind travelling a bit... I guess it is what it is... I’m not seriously looking though at the moment... just keep having a peek!

For me personally just either the men have just wanted a shag only...or send 1 or 2 messages and then disappear (that could be me??

) or they have been married/taken which makes it tricky for dating!

Yes to me tinder and Pof are just shag sites... even though I haven’t had any successful dates yet on Bumble I think I have more chance on there then here... although obviously I’m not looking at the women!!

I use bumble the same way I use fab tbh, it’s just harder to get that I like swinging with a partner into the conversation but I do chat for ages and get to know people so we end up knowing everything about each other before we meet.

This may sound harsh but I often give myself 3 seconds per profile picture on the swipe left, swipe right type of dating sites.

Im looking for that initial attraction, shape of her face, smile, believe it or not eyebrows too are a deal breaker.

If i go into her profile and all her pics are of a lavish lifestyle, skiing on the slopes, riding horses and partying in fields, she's not for me.

Im on Bumble, Tinder and Pof. Its been well over 3 years since i last had a match or message. Due to the lack of activity, i often check my settings to make sure i havent muted my account

Always swipe left if every picture has a filter. Didn’t stick to this at first and had many disappointments! If the pictures grab me then I read the profile before swiping.

I hate Bumble for the sheer fact that i never get any replies.

I have friends who have found it very successful.

Having said that ive also had friends who say that Tinder was very good to them too. Seems like im the only guy not to have had a Tinder date lol

What do you, lads and lasses, look for? What makes you swipe right on someone?

And, if you saw someone from fab on there would you bring it up?

This may sound harsh but I often give myself 3 seconds per profile picture on the swipe left, swipe right type of dating sites.

Im looking for that initial attraction, shape of her face, smile, believe it or not eyebrows too are a deal breaker.

If i go into her profile and all her pics are of a lavish lifestyle, skiing on the slopes, riding horses and partying in fields, she's not for me.

I’ve been on dating apps. They all have their pros & cons.

Tinder & POF were probably the best for me.

Wasn’t keen on Bumble and making the first move it felt nerve wracking!

I’m single & want it to stay that way so I’m on none of them at the moment. But when I was on Tinder it was initial attraction to photos, then I’d check their bio out, if all was well I’d swipe right. On POF pretty much the same thing.

A few guys who swiped me, or sent me a message and I didn’t reply to on dating sites have messaged me on here “You used to be on Tinder/POF, wanna meet?” Yes I did! No I don’t!

Seriously? You could say virtually anything for a first message to a guy and he would reply. What's to be nervous about? Us guys almost always have to send the first message to a girl which has a very high chance of being ignored, rejection is guaranteed for men on dating sites but you just shrug it off and say NEXT...

I just swipe right on the majority. Not because I'm not fussy but just to see who I match with (which isn't many.) Then most of the time if I do get a match I don't talk to them so waste of time really lol.

My sister is the same!

She overplucked in her teens but I introducing her to Jamaican black castor oil and they are flourishing now!

I use it to grow my natural lashes too. X

Definitely the face and body grabs my attention first, but only enough to make me read their bio, if that makes them come across as boring, shallow, or just too different for us to get along then I'd pass them by. I would have got with girls purely based on looks despite having absolutely nothing in common when I was 20 but certainly not now

I treat them like a dating site. I read the profile, look at the pics, if they seem cool I'll swipe right.

The whole online dating thing is quite disheartening anyway. I just can't be arsed with all the shit that comes with it. One line / empty profiles, aggressive statuses, it makes it quite hard to filter out those who aren't just looking for a quick ego boost. It honestly feels like a game.

I probably get swiped left on or looked at but don't receive a message because of my photos. I don't take photos well, I'm not a big photo kind of guy. Even if I was my phone is shit, so it looks like they've been taken on a photo.

Lately I've started to think I'm a decent looking lad when I sort my hair out, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror the other day and wondered why the fuck I'm worried about my appearance for.

I have only seen 1 person from Fab so far on the dating apps and at some point we are meant to be going for a drink...

Good look and just be wary there’s just as many fake profiles /married/ taken men as on here! So just try and have some fun with it!

I've actuallt found fab better for.people wanting to meet up ahah!

It is... I would say my experience on the dating apps is far worse then on here!! I only use Bumble now I can’t stand tinder!

Well I had a date a couple of weeks ago but he ended up been ‘taken’

I agree, Bumble is my favourite one. Much better standard of guys and they take it a bit more seriously than tinder. Tinder and Pof are my least favourite. Bumble and Feeld are my preferred ones.

I’ve never even heard of Bumble?? Bored to the back teeth of Pof/Tinder! Is it worth a look if the ideal is something a little more serious than FAB?

I might have to give it a try as Tinder is useless, no opportunity to sell yourself in 300 letters! And POF is frequented by virtually every participant of the Jeremy Kyle show

however when I do find someone who I mutually get on with it has given me the opportunity to get to know them, they’re likes etc before meeting up....like you though, still haven’t managed to get my timing right to suggest swinging together

hence why I’m here I guess, similar mindset.
