I need one more good reason to move to Bristol and I’m hoping it’s a plethora of tall, hirsute, single men.

C’mon, reveal yourselves, my hotlist is dreadfully scanty.

Sadly Bristol has changed alot. Its not as nice as what it was. Born in Bristol lived there until 19.

Full of foreigners who treat it like rubbish. Speed limits are terrible mostly 20 or 30. Traffic is bad.

But lots of rich men, pay higher than most of the UK. Housing market is very good. Good location for traveling. Easy access to most places. Lots of shops, Lots of clubs and bars.

Meet you under the clock tower (no idea if there is one but I’m sure we could find one) this time next year. I’ll be wearing a straw, wide brimmed hat, Birkenstocks and a fetching dress.

Carry a copy of the Times, put a flower in your beard and wear a dazzling smile

I’ll be renting and boy, that’s expensive but me and FAB will be shacked up by then. Sharing is caring.

Bristol East

I moved to Bristol in 2012.

(Probably one of those "foreigners" who treat the place like rubbish )

I haven't left.

Big city without the big city attitude, more a collection of towns that have rolled into one another. Chilled out place.

I’ve got family who has just moved there from Wales and there was no way I was moving there. Bristol seems much nicer, full of people I connect with and quite cosmopolitan.

What the scene like?

Bristol East

I lived on Old Market for 5 years, which is one of two LGBT areas. (The other over by the university is more for the younger ones.)

City centre clubs aint my thing, really. I prefer proper boozers. Plenty of those scattered around the centre and suburbs.

Haywood Village, Weston-super-Mare

Bristol' s a pretty big city, with a large population, so I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding tall, hirsute, single men.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I like it.

I worked there for a while a few years ago, and met a hairy Fabster for a drink. I had to visit a few times earlier this year and I found it to be vibrant and interesting.

There was an art event a few weeks ago that looked really exciting.

6’8” here.... I think that’ll cover the tall bit.

Bristol is great, so open minded. I rocked up 9 yrs ago and never left.

And we’ll welcome you with open arms... and much more!

Ive been here 18 years. Love it.

Its got art, and culture, sport, and a big enough population for what ever you're into.

Socials, clubs in and near, lots of meets advertised.

Posh bits, arty bits, alternative bits, suburban bits.

Easy to get to Wales or Devon and London on the train.

I live outside the centre but I can cycle into town, get a cab for £12.

I wish I'd known about it earlier as I might have used today in Bristol instead of fruitlessly seeking sex.
