..do the guys who lay tar on the roads take a new brush into work each day?

I mean they wouldn't want to tar every road with the same brush, would they?

I doubt if the brushes are in a fit state. The lads who lay the main road tarmac are ok its those Cyclepaths guys who scare me!

They use a shovel and rake no brushes are involved.

Yes, I realised that after I'd posted. Roofers use brushes to tar roofs (why don't we use 'rooves' as the plural of 'roof'?), so perhaps I should have said roofers instead.
