brighton - chalais france

I live in France and have heard on the radio that they are expecting record temperatures in Europe this weekend.

I have seen 48 deg c since I've lived here, but got in car earlier and it said 50 degrees..

Thank god for aircon..

Who else is enjoying this heatwave and who isn't?

Just by coincidence I saw the same temps mentioned for the uk you mentioned in france in some daily papers yesterday near to where I live people seemed quite blaise about it, 118f not sure if thats a british record if it happens even 100f is hard to take on board, stop in doors plenty of ventilation and chilled water just to stay healthy...

We are just back from Spain where it was 36 yesterday but with a breeze... The heat here in Berkshire today is stifling and making me feel really quite unwell

I remember being in Thailand and it was over 40 degrees for about a week then suddenly dropped to 30 and I actually felt almost cold lol.
