You’re going over to someone’s house for a meet. Sex is 100% happening. You start in the bedroom and get too it right away.

Do you notice their bedding?

I once changed my bedding and wasn’t planning any meets so put on old an Harry Potter duvet set. A few hours later my fuck buddy said he was coming over, so I quickly changed the bedding thinking it would put him off!!!

I would imagine you notice mess in a room, dirtiness etc. But would you really be paying that much attention to bedding?

Depends the first thing I'd notice is the smell: is it clean? Does have her scent? Etc. And that may put me off.

Colors, patterns etc I would probably barely notice 'till the end but still wouldn't care

I met a guy who, after a social, stopped at a shop on the way to his for the first time to buy new bedding for us. I then had to help put it on when we got there

I've only had one guy over to mine and I made sure the bedding was perfect, he probably didn't notice, but I would've been conscious of it if it wasn't spot on.

Did he pick good bedding?

And that’s my point! He most likely didn’t notice and when he left I just took the duvet set off, shoved it in the wash and put the HP one back on. But still!!

I’m pretty nosey too. My fuck buddy isnt - we had an agreement that when we met I was to be either on my knees waiting, or playing on the bed. So....I don’t think he would have noticed

This is not about a fab meet but it is about bedding...and sex...

A few years back I had had 4 dates with a guy. He knew I was a petrol-head and he was aswell. So the fifth date was "stay over" date.

I arrived and he seemed very excited to show me his room. He grabbed my arm and ran upstairs.

He had purchased especially for me a Ford Mustang duvet set! I was gob-smacked as that is my fave car! It's the little things like that sometimes. He had thought of me and my interests and listened. He definitely got laid that night! We went out for about 4 months. Nice guy.

If it's posh, silky bedding I feel bad about sweating it up.

Saying that, my bedding is silver/grey shiny material that feels like raw silk and I still fuck on top of it with my LTP.

I prefer if a bed is stripped usually.

I always notice, because I'm inherently nosy about people's choices in their surroundings, epecially if a man's duvet cover looks like a throwback from a previous relationship! Most amusing. That said, I have dinosaur bedding, so not really one to comment on the sophisticated side of furnishings haha.

I can't say I would really notice, my attention would be focused on the person I was meeting.

Having said that, if I have had someone back to mine, I did make sure the bedding was fresh on

Most of mine is Egyptian cotton as I personally love the feel

I remember in my single days I'd only get alternate weekends to play so might line up 2 or 3 meets a day ( I know, greedy filthbag! ).... I'd strip the bed after each and have clean bedding... Sometimes it would be a race to remake the bed and get showered and dressed

I definitely notice. Clean bedding is a must if I am entertaining. I started to fall out with an ex gf after the honeymoon period and when I went round to see her (it was a hell of a drive as I had moved) she had stopped bothering to make an effort. Bed wasn't made, it was dirty (dog slept in the bed when I wasn't there). Then she kicked off when I complained about it..

I can't get my head around not getting into a made bed. Or is that just me being weird?

I've got a spare room with a double bed, and just kept a fuscia fitted sheet on the mattress - no quilt or pillows (I store those in the wardrobe for when family might stay over).

I stopped using the spare room when I did up my living room.

I bought a fabulous faux leather couch from Dwell that converts very easily to a double bed. Wioe-clean, too.

As long as it is clean, neat and tidy I wouldn't care. Unless I noticed it was super awesome design on it I wouldn't likely even remember what the pattern on it was when I left either.

I always put clean plain bedding on if having someone over mainly as I'm sleeping without a duvet atm and don't want to seem weird for not having one so it gets put on purely to fuck on top of

Does anyone else find they have sex on top of the duvet rather than under it these day? I blame the heat

As other people have said it's not the type of bedding but cleanliness is a must. If a fella has got out the hoover before you turn up, cleaned the bathroom then he's shown respect as he's made the effort.

Needless to say my fella is due later so the bathrooms is gonna get cleaned

"If it's posh, silky bedding I feel bad about sweating it up.

Saying that, my bedding is silver/grey shiny material that feels like raw silk and I still fuck on top of it with my LTP.

I prefer if a bed is stripped usually.

Stripped, as in down to the dirty mattress ? "

The duvet taken off and preferably a clean mattress.

I once changed my bedding and wasn’t planning any meets so put on old an Harry Potter duvet set. A few hours later my fuck buddy said he was coming over, so I quickly changed the bedding thinking it would put him off!!!

I would imagine you notice mess in a room, dirtiness etc. But would you really be paying that much attention to bedding?

If it moves on to watersports it might be worth considering a change mid session to whatever can be found in the laundry basket.

A dislike a really soft mattress. No purchase.....

Me too. Clean and tasteful bedding always enhances the experience for me, though one of my best ever meets had leopard print bedding and a jedi dressing gown lol!
