What would you do if he was your dad? He's now made comments about Princess Diana. Is it crossing the line? Should he be stopped from talking to the Press?

I care as much about the royals as I do about celebrity culture. Personally I hope they all get sucked into a black hole.

The guys trying everything to get his daughter to contact him.

He's lost her to the establishment

He's loud mouth American so not a chance he's gonna be welcomed into the family.

She's made her choice obviously.

Erm

I’m half American - does this mean I’ll only talk for 1/2 of the time

I'd have a word with him and ask/tell him to shut the fuck up.

If he didn't I'd invite to a party.

The invite would include directions. The section where the route goes through a tunnel would be highlighted.

See if he still talks about Princess Dianna after that....

So if he's stopped talking about what he wants to or having an opinion on something how long before it's you and me?

He'll pass away in a freak yachting accident shortly or succumb to another more serious and unfortunately fatal heart attack. Everyone will be sad and the Royal Family will get back to business.

Nevertheless he is still her father and maybe she should privately visit him and establish that bond they obviously once had and maybe he will stop the attention seeking and take a dignified silence.... Who knows stranger things have happened

Quite possibly, I have found most Americans are very open to a chat and not as reserved as the English as instigating a conversation.

In my experience New Yorkers are very reserved, rude fuckers.

Probably town folk vs city folk.

There and to the left a bit

As someone who has had two of his children cut him out of their lives at various points due to the meddling of others, I can sympathise and understand why he would do anything to re-establish that contact and bond.

Whether he's going about it the right way is another question.

How do you stop someone talking?

Other than cutting their tongue out, in which case they just write things down.

He's just one more character to join the longest-running pantomime.
