Do you learn from your mistakes?

If someone has upset you, do you tell them or keep it to yourself?

What mistakes have you learned from?

I've learned from some of my mistakes because they really had an impact.

Others I keep making over and over again and I'll never learn. But mistakes can feel so right at the time of doing.

I learn from most of my mistakes. But there’s two I keep going back too.

And I’m getting better at telling people why they’ve upset me. I wouldn’t say I’m argumentative or anything, but I’m pretty straight up now about how I feel about things. If you’ve bothered or upset me, chances are I’ll let you know.

My mistake was made when I was young and inexperienced. I won't make that one again.

I generally learn from my mistakes so that the next time I do it again, I understand that I'm actually doing it deliberately. Hence it's no longer a mistake..

I like this way of thinking

If you know they won't care do you still tell them?

Yep. Maybe in the years to come they’ll reflect on it

Once bitten, twice shy, is my motto, but I did fuck up on several occasions in ma early 20's. I suppose it depends on what sort of mistake is involved and whether you're prepared to take the gamble that history won't repeat itself.

I'm pretty good at learning from my mistakes, especially in relationships. At least in the sense that I've made just about every relationship mistake a guy can make, but never the same one twice and ultimately i ran out of mistakes to make and found an awesome wife.

Always learning, especially from my mistakes. Thankfully I have not made too many big ones.

1. Some. Others I tweak and make them again with a new twist.

2. Keep it to myself.

3. A recent one is to go against my natural behaviours with a particular person in order to effect a change.

I hope I learn from my mistakes, though there are some I repeat for sure. I am someone who needs to tell people if they upset me, but I try to do it in a thoughtful, calm manner and not with anger. I can be volatile if provoked though!

I actually like making mistakes. Means I am trying at least.

Some of my mistakes have involved men which I have learned from.

With dating at one point a few years back I tried to be someone I wasn't. It didn't work. So now I'm completely me. Don't hide anything. If I'm not for them then they can walk away and I won't chase.

1. I'm always finding new ways to make the same mistake again.

I really like that way of looking at it- your first paragraph.
