I think he's saying that it's quite simple for a woman to lay down, open her legs and get paid for it. My ex-wife does it but without the laying down, opening of legs bit. Still have to pay her every fookin month though.

He's intimating that swinging is very much a lifestyle based upon sex whereas prostitution provides a lifestyle funded by sex. Two quite are different things entirely.

Have you ever stopped to think he was trying to pay you a compliment?
