"Bright eyes, I always see the death of Hazel and the black rabbit coming when I hear it. Ohne Dich, I don't speak German but the emotion in the song is enough to bring tears to my eyes. Johnny cash Hurt, used to like the song till I listened to the lyrics rather than just sing them. I must have a listen to the Johnny Cash song, several people have mentioned it..." It will haunt you.

"Hurt, the Johnny Cash version, watching the video is the worst, seeing him close the lid on the piano is almost him saying good by, but it’s seeing June Carter that’s the sucker punch, don’t think anyone thought she would go before he did " Another vote for this song...

I hurt myself today To see if I still feel I focus on the pain The only thing that's real The needle tears a hole The old familiar sting Try to kill it all away But I remember everything What have I become My sweetest friend Everyone I know Goes away in the end And you could have it all My empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt I wear this crown of thorns Upon my liars chair Full of broken thoughts I cannot repair Beneath the stains of time The feelings disappear You are someone else I am still right here What have I become My sweetest friend Everyone I know Goes away in the end And you could have it all My empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt If I could start again A million miles away I will keep myself I would find a way

"Randomly; ‘Don’t you worry child’ by Swedish House Mafia. It speaks to me of hope and loss and never fails. ‘Stay High’ by Tove Lo (remix) does too as it reminds me of lost love and that feeling of trying to do anything to keep your thoughts from that person. To be honest though there are so many songs that bring memories, I’m always receiving emotional trauma at the hands of the radio " I know that feeling well

"Bright Eyes, because of Watership Down Man of the World by Fleetwood Mac - it was used in a very shocking Irish drink drive advert when my son was a baby, and I only have to hear the first line to tear up Fairytale of New York, not sure why The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughan Williams. Simply the most beautiful piece of music ever composed " Good choices

"Don't Sell Daddy Any More Whiskey by Johnny Cash. My dad used to sing it to me when I was little and I hated it " When I was small my mum used to tease me by singing leaving on a jet plane cos she knew it would make me cry but then she got even more cuddles from me than usual. I still grumble about it to her now

"Lone bugler playing the last post or isla St Claire singing flowers of the forest both make me swallow hard grit my teeth and wipe away a tear. Absent friends..... " Never been in the forces, but after hearing at a funeral. It gets me everytime. Not forgetting time to say goodbye, played it as we left a relatives funeral. "'Nothing Compares 2 U' by Sinead Oconnor." This. It was played at the funeral of someone I loved very much. ‘Missing’ by Everything But The Girl for the same person, which seems to be cropping up randomly on radio when shopping and floors me every time. ‘The First Time That Ever I Saw Your Face’ by Roberta Flack, good tears for the birth of my children.
