If you lived in a reasonably small town would you meet someone from the same town as you?

I have done and we seem to bump into each all the time. I don't think there is a week go by where I don't see him x

Liverpool

The potential for hassle is far too high, what if it doesn't go well? Hate the expression but "don't shit on your own doorstep". Good luck x

Hiding in the shadows

Not now, lesson learnt.

I actively avoid anyone 'local' to me

I did when i first moved here..

We met quite a few times but then I moved again and left fab for a bit and we lost touch...

Then I literally bumped into him whilst out shopping and now we are just mates

Depends

If they’re discreet or not

Personally, no. Comes too easy

A bit of driving to get there gives us some time to imagine and prepare

I block local guys (within 3 miles) that come up, because a few have crossed the line and approached me off of here in my place of work and on the school run - which to me is inappropriate. I know not all will but I don't like being put on the spot and them trying to change my mind.

Local couples were happy to meet. Local women...well there isn't any.

I live in a big town but 300 yards from a swingers club I go to. Does that count?

My Fwb lives in my village, turns out he is friends with my nephew and has 13 mutual friends on Facebook.

Hiding in plain sight. And because he is local nobody questions how we know each other or why we're friends on FB lol.

Calderdale innit

Years ago I met someone a few times who was quite local.

Never had any problems meeting him ,it depends if I found them to be discreet /trustworthy.

Erm... no.

In my town, any half decent person has met each other. I'd rather not!

One of my regular meets lives less than a mile from me

No definitely not.

I don’t want a reputation as a “slag” or “whore” or easy or anything else. No one local to me knows what I get up to and I intend to keep it that way.
