That's why i stopped too..

Yes. Just recently I'vve been trying

to answer all mine politely by saying "thank you for your message but we aren't compatiable, take care and good luck in your search", but then it's often followed up with another question then another.

Makes you wonder if it's best just to ignore and delete.

I’ve no idea why someone isn’t my type I just know when someone is when I see their pick then meet them. Depends on my mood at times as well.

I block now once I’ve said ‘No thanks’.

As soon as I send that response I block as it saves all further questions or insults. I found a conmon response was "what is your type?" as if they could magically morph into that once they knew.

The forum is keeping me occupied today. When I was off work and had all the time in the world I hardly bothered. That was probably because the Hospital firewalls kept me from logging on to my favourite sites

I like a polite no and I often reply to one with a thanks for letting me know and happy fabbing message. A lot of the time these don’t get read but it makes me feel better. I am sure if I was receiving as many messages as the women on here do my patience would wear a bit thin though and I’d be pressing the bulk delete icon. Hey ho.,,,being a bloke is easy!!!

Something is always better than nothing but it's not always feasible.

If a bloke spoke to you (lady) in the bar/club would you just flat out ignore them? Probably not. Unless you're the type that thinks your shit don't stink! A polite 'no thanks, not my type' message is a nice enough way to let a guy down gently.

But on the flip side, some women get over 3-4 hundred messages and they can't reply to all of them. So I can see from both sides.

Just take no reply as no thanks and be done with it, or be patient as you 'may' get a reply. Simples

I don't send a polite no thanks anymore, I just delete the message. I got fed up of the whining and asking why? The insults because they are butt hurt "I didn't want to meet a fat fucker like you anyway". The trying to persuade me to change my mind etc.

It is such a shame that there are some men on here who behave badly when rejected. It has lead to me resorting to ignoring everyone I'm not interested in which isn't fair to the nice guys.

I don't see how things will ever change though. There is a continual stream of new men joining and there will always be some idiots in amongst them.

For all the nice guys out there: just keep on doing what you are doing, the idiots only spoil fab for themselves.

I don't say you are not my type, or explain why I don't want to meet anyone. If, after my initial reply of no thank you, or not what I'm looking for sorry, they message again, I either block or say there is no attraction on my part, and then block.

Being on this site has helped me accept rejection, if a message is deleted even if it has a face picture then they are not interested. Don’t be dicks accept it!!
