Favourite city

Another thread, about how much we all love or loathe London, got me thinking about my favourite cities.

Edinburgh,Glasgow and Newcastle upon Tyne have always been in my top list but I've also recently fallen in love with Liverpool too.

So...which cities are most loved by fabsters? And which are hated?

I just overheard a guy moaning that he paid $55 for a rum and in New York.Im not sure I believe that but let's keep it to British cities for now.

York

There is absolutely no way on this earth I would live in London but I do enjoy visiting it.

York is one of my favourite cities which is why I live there, but I grew up in the countryside and I miss it so eventually I'll probably move back to a village.

Glasgow

I love going to London, it really does feel that bit different from other cities. Not always in good ways, but there is a certain buzz about it.

My favourite city has to be Glasgow though. By a country mile. Sure, Edinburgh might be nicer, but Glasgow is so much better.

NW London

Gotta say London (even though I'm probably biased) because it's a world city and I like the culture, history and pace of life.

Elsewhere Nottingham and Brighton are cool.

Well,I did say uk cities but only because of some guy whinging about prices in New York.

If we're extending it to world cities it would have to be San Francisco...or Rome....or Bangkok.

Had some dam good times in those places.

I'm sure Manchester has its charms but they mostly remain hidden from me..sorry Manchester fans.

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

I've been up and down your lovely country and it's filled with fabulous cities

Scotland: Loved Edinburgh and Glasgow...totally different feel to each one. Inverness was lovely. I thought Oban and Fort William were charming.

England: Manchester! fabulous Bristol, Southampton

London nice, but too large...too expensive.

Newcastle on my hit list

Wales: Swansea and Cardiff were fab. I loved Tenby!

Not been to northern ireland yet
