A friend did one last year and said it;s differemt., the course is monotonous but supporters and feed statuon is never more than 200 metres away. There's an option to run it as a 6 hour ultra but I;m not quiote that stupid! | |||

I have played in the pool with the kids but my pulse rate hasn’t been adequately challenged. Well done everyone who has for some runs in during the break from the heatwave." " Puts a lot of impact (your full weight) on your joints whereas the bike takes all that. Make sure you have the right footwear with the right support and build up the speed and distance to build up the supporting muscles | |||

(Side note smashed 6km in 15 mins on bike and 1km in 5mins on rowing machine after that) So I can feel my fitness is coming back. | |||

I've done the half from Uxbridge to Watford a few times and like you Watford to to Berko which is a lovely stretch but this was the first time doing the stretch from Leighton Buzzard, definitely going to do it again as it's so open, other than Tring hardly saw another person | |||
