Somewhere In The Ether…

......A Greggs has just opened literally five minutes walk away from me.

Nah nah! Who’s green with envy then?

Not even a little jealous, I live in the arse end of nowhere, very few people, nearest shop is 2 miles away. Keeps me slim I'm less inclined to waste petrol on a hunger pang, and definitely not worth the walk. Though I'd love to live in a village with a pub and a takeaway in walking distance!! Not sure I'd keep slim then though

My nearest Gregs is miles away, and I'm ok with that because I'd be a fat fuck if it was close by

There used to be a lovely secluded little pub literally about 2 min from me. Alas - after a failed attempt by new management to turn it into a Thai Cuisine restaurant, it sadly went bust and has now been turned into a cottage

I’m thinking of keeping a photographic diary of my body transformation now that Greggs has landed on my doorstep.....

Ah - My nearest is about 30 mins away unless I settle for a kebab (there’s a van about a mile down the road)

A secluded pub that does Thai would have me jealous.

Isn’t there a Greggs within five minutes of literally everyone in the country now?

Turns out that sausage rolls were the most recession proof commodity there is!

I’d be jealous if it were a pub that did steak and ale pie with mash

And cider on the cheap.

Hull

I don’t think I’ve ever been in a Greggs. I live round the corner to a load of cafe bars, restaurants and take away shops and an amazing gelato cafe all which I have to walk by on my way to and from work. It’s quite an effort some nights and partially why I remove all my clothes as soon as I get home to prevent me going back out again when I can’t be bothered to cook. I’m too lazy to get dressed again

Not a Greggs fan myself - but I do live round the corner to a fabulous Boulangerie/Patisserie. I have to limit myself to a couple of visits a week or I would be even fatter.

They're pasty shops in the southwest, sort of the Cornish equivalent of Greggs.

I’m not a fan of ivor dewdney pasties, the ingredients are chopped up too small. I like them chunky like an oggies. Best pasties are in Chough bakery in padstow. They win awards.
