I’ve worn them for years and a toe ring. Just something to decorate a part of my body I’m not keen on. I don’t care if a few people think it means something else. I’d have pampas grass outside my house for decoration too but it would get knicked or vandalised no doubt

Which 'true' meaning are you using?

In my childhood it meant 'loose woman' or prostitute.

In other cultures it's just body adornment as in Indian style costumes and dancing.

In the swinging world it can mean a hotwife ....

Basically it means what ever the wearer intends it to mean.
