Our pooch has just been diagnosed with this condition, anyone's else's dog got this? How do you deal with it? How does your dog cope with it?

No experience of it, I’m afraid.

Sorry to hear your dog is poorly though, hope all goes okay and it’s manageable / treatable.

We aren't sure, if not too serious it is manageable, but worst case they can swallow anyrhing including water, so is life threatening

I've seen a few Great Danes with this , people get the dog to put front paws on a step or lower stair then spoon feed like that from above, helps stop the breathing in of food.

I feel for you as I know it's a very difficult thing to manage xxx

Yeah you have to try and use gravity to get th food and water in to their stomach
