Maybe she reached under the covers and felt it and thought it was the BBC she had invited home last night.

Imagine fighting a snake, in your bed, in the pitch black.

That will be the "one eyed trouser snake"

Very common in these parts.

My friend has a pet snake

Well, technically it’s a dog but we named it snake

It sleeps in a basket but it’s difficult to charm

It’s very friendly and not at all aggressive

There's people in the UK who keep venomous snakes. (Inland Taipan's eg)

You can't handle them like a constrictor so why have them at all?

£250 for a licence and a yearly £100 fee (approx).

Some of the world's most dangerous snakes kept in this country just to look at.

I don't get it.

"She found out the guy she met on Fab was actually married. "

I always work on the basis that every man on Fab is married or has a partner and then you can find out with pleasure the very small percentage who are actually single.

Exactly! Have you ever seen a woman near a spider!? Or something that looks a bit like a spider!? Or something that a spider might have been near?! Now imagine what a woman would be like waking up to find a fully grown royal python in her bed! I'm surprised she's still alive!

Sure a 3ft long python could wrap around your neck. Or bite you. Or just scuttle of to a dark corner, eat mice for several years and grow into a monster.

All of this would go through my mind in a nanosecond after waking up....just before my screams frightened the poor thing so much it ran away back to its glass cage where it felt safe.

I love spiders but snakes it my biggest fear and phobia. I would have had a heart attack.
