Imagine seeing it before we knew what it was and you can easily understand why our ancestors thought about the end of the world

With the cooler temperatures it's bringing, I'm predicting lots of kinky sex.

Essex.

If it's clear, we will take the children to a local beauty spot.

If it's warm and cloudy my try and get some more pics of Frisky in the garden after the children are in bed...

"The century's longest lunar eclipse "

Plus Mars is closer than it's been for 15 years. All organized by the flat earth society.

Mars will be the other red object up there.

A house, a very big house in the country

I'll be watching for it this evening. Hopefully the cloud coverage will disperse and I'll get a little glimpse.

It's not an excuse. I actually do have a large telescope and I'm very interested in Astronomy.

Cloudy here too. So I’ve cut a circle out of a piece of paper from the printer, coloured it with an orange hilighter and stuck it on the doors to the back garden. Thinking 4 or 5 more Gins and I’ll not know the difference!

"Fuxking clouds "

I know. It's been clear every night this week. I've been happy to see the rain but now it's just cloudy and hot, with not even a gentle breeze to move the cloud cover on.

I think the hot weather and the full moon have contributed to the fractious air on here too.

I saw the moon last night as well - it did look huge as it rose above the horizon. Did I hear right that this is the last lunar eclipse this century?

I am in Northern France - last night was a beautiful deep moon. Tonight was cloudy but at about 9.30pm there was a very deep red colouring behind some of the clouds - it didn't last long and I couldn't see the moon but the colour was fantastic.
