Hi guys does anyone else share my opinion that the proliferation of Bi-curiosity is down to the Ratio of single men to single females being so disproportionate that guys will try things they never dreamt of just to achieve intimacy?

For some maybe. I think most are genuinely curious and feel safe enough on here to try it out. People 'in real life' may make them feel like deviants. Because there's so many openly bi men on here it makes them feel better about themselves.

When you say intimacy, are you using that as a euphemism for "getting laid" or do you truly mean intimacy? I can't imagine guys come here for intimacy, but perhaps I'm being overly judgemental.

Maybe this site is a place for them to venture into bisexuality and feel safe in doing so. Lots of men list themselves as straight but have veris from men.. I guess it’s all about how you feel in the moment

Shades of bisexuality may be part of it. I've said bi. Have I had experience with men? Yes, plenty, I use to cottage pretty frequently for the best part of 20 years. Do I walk down the street and fancy men? No. Have I ever had a relationship with a man? No. Do I want one? No.

I think it’s an interesting question.

I think that there can be shades of that, certainly from the ‘straight’ guys that message me there is the whiff of desperation from some of them. The whole ‘suck and go’ thing leaves me cold and I refuse to be a dirty little secret.

To me, exploring is about finding out what you want and trying new things openly to yourself. The image of a dark grope behind the leisure centre at midnight with your eyes closed, to my mind, doesn’t fit with that.

I'm not like any human if someone shows an interest in me I am flattered I just thought it was an interesting topic for debate.

If anything it should spread a wider tolerance/acceptance of Gay Lesbian and trans cultures?

Which can only be a good thing?
