Do any other women get absolutely starving when it's close to their time of the month? Not just chocolate either, its food in general. I just can't get full and I'm trying to eat healthy so running out of low carb meals. I'm minutes away from making some cheese, beans and ham toasties.

Aye, crave red meat and raw veg when ovulating and cake during period week. I never got the attraction of chocolate tbh. Ice cream and cake definitely the best way to soothe the monster, my ex used to enter the room with a bowl at arms length in front of him if he needed to come into the bedroom and I was in bed lol. It made me laugh at least so felt less murderous

Only ever crave chocolate when my period is due, no cravings when ovulating which is about halfway through my cycle.

Yes it’s awful especially when your trying to diet as nothing seems to satisfy me I usually end up ordering a takeaway

Just feel like a bottomless pit, nothing fills me and I swear it gets worse with age, don't remember being like this in my teens and twenties.

So on that basis then the extra food *should* get burned up?

I totally agree. I eat and eat, except nothing is particularly satisfying so I just keep going

If it makes you feel better, have it, your body is obviously craving for the extra calories it needs.

I can agree with all you ladies.. just come back from fat club feeling great before I went only to find I’ve put in .5lb I only needed to lose a 1lb to get to target... I’m thinking it’s all the fluids I’m drinking in this weather not th 1/2 packer of gingernuts that disappeared...

That could literally be water retention. Don't give up.

Haven't got any, the bread I have is only 0.6 grams of sugar per slice. It's sugar that's the weight gainer.

I'm gonna make them now, been thinking about it for 40 mins and I'm still within my daily calories so it's fine.
