Me and a female companion of mine are thinking of going to amstredam during nye , just wanted to ask people who either live there or have been during nye what things are there to do during that time of the year ?

Also where is the best place to be during nye night , I’m guessing the main square but if anyone has any suggestions for things to do or go I would be very appreciative !
