"Not so long ago, on my drive home from work I went past an animal which has been hit by a car (assumption); for reasons only my inner dimwit could explain, I convinced myself it was a dead kangaroo. I had an internal debate between reasoned self and inner dimwit along the lines of “we don’t have kangaroos in the UK you truffling airhead” for a few miles, but the inner dimwit was sufficiently persuasive that I felt compelled to turn the car round to take another peek. Yup, a dead deer. " You are so cute.. faf?

Yup, a dead deer. " I think I remember you telling us that before. I had a similar incident myself where both myself and my daughter thought there was a dead wallaby (she said kangaroo) by the side of the road. I've come to the conclusion that it was a hare or a baby deer.
