Cheffy snores, really loudly, but I find it quite comforting at times. I guess because I was alone so long before I had him...

My ex snored something awful. Once in a while, forcing him to sleep on his side and pulling his head waaaaaay back helped.

Usually not.

My solution: sleep on different floors, (the very real thoughts of suffocation), and divorce finally ended it.

That's actually really sweet. An ex of mine snored horribly - I found it not at all sweet I found that snapping his name in an increasingly loud voice and poking him hard sometimes worked for long enough to let me drop off, if I was quick about it. L.

If it's a child I'd make an appointment at the doctors. Get tonsils, adenoids and allergy checked.

My eldest snores because she has chronically enlarged tonsils. She doesn't get tonsillitis but frequent sore throats but wouldn't take them out.

I snore like a bastard. Always have done from a little kid.

My sis used to share my bed to stop me snoring. Then shake it again if I stopped in case I was dead!

Generally used for sleep apnea but is usually hand in hand with snoring.

Hull but travel regularly

Reduce your dairy intake, cut it out all together if you can. It causes mucus.

Also extra weight causes issues with the throat.

My ex husband used to snore so loudly that I could still hear him on another floor.

The only way to get a good night's sleep was to move out and live 2 miles away.

He did however apologise several years later - he had gone to a friends party and had to sleep in the same room as a male friend and the friend snored so loudly that he had to get up and go and watch tv all night. He apologised for calling me a liar about his snoring and said he understood completely what he had put me through.

I can only assume that those that joked about it haven't had to put up with it. There's nothing more debilitating to your sleep than laying next to someone that snores.

As someone who had to suffer listening to it for years I can assure you there isn't any women I'd spend a night with if I knew they snored!

at least you admit that you snore, But noted not many ladies are admitting that they themselves do snore.

my daughter snores, Her mum my ex did snore.

yet I bet many on this thread, refute that they themselves snore

Sleep deprivation is a serious problem and most earplugs won't block all the noise.
