The last couple of stages would probably have been more interesting if most of the big sprinters where still in it.

However the scenery is always amazing to look at.

Ok, interesting stage today. 65km mountainous route starting on a grid system, could be fireworks or a damp squib !

"Nasty crash from Gilbert yesterday, out of tour."

Indeed it was but could have been much worse felt really bad for Yates.

Today's stage was pretty brutal but froome looks completely out of contention now.

However still a lot of racing between now and Paris it's not completely impossible.

That said I would much prefer Thomas to win .

i don't know what to make of the really short stage today.... i love a good mountain stage me, it was an interesting concept

the grid thing didn't work....

if it had been double that long and lets say gone up and down 5 passes rather than 3 (make them suffer long enough!! lol) that would have been almost perfect...

anyway... we now know froome is going to play super domestique to thomas... and that friday is going to be fireworks...

glad i am doing a short day friday and will watch most of it....

I must admit to have shed a couple of tears.

Really couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

i am so chuffed for him..... he is a riders rider....

took a year out of his professional career to come back and win an olympic track title.... won the commonwealth road title 4 yrs ago, rode an entire tour with a broken pelvis to help froome win one... been the super domestique to both froome and wiggins

he so far will have my vote for SPOTY......

"What time is it on TV please?

its on both Eurosport and ITV1 starting from 3.....

the biggest gripe is that some "idiot" on in london and the UCI scheduled the ridelondon classic (on from 4 on BBC1) and the final tour weekend together

especially with how big cycling is in the UK at the moment... that is a huge oppotunity to celebrate missed...

even if they had only pushed ridelondon back a week.. that one day race could have had the same calibre field as some of the "spring classics"

Found it. Thank you Fabio.

Chuffed to have a Welshman win it.

You probably know GT, Bale and Warburton were all in the same PE class. They are all still mates and are really grounded humans as well. I coach at least x3 of their teachers and they always speak Highly of them.

I can't tell you a bad thing about either of them.

Well done on his success and being a good guy

Well done G and well down Chris for not challenging him Once he had the yellow, shows great teamwork and sportsmanship I recon, best stage of the tour for me was the Roubais stage, how dramatic was that
