I suffered really badly as a child. My mum swore ginger would help and force fed me ginger nut biscuits. It never worked.

I've never actually thrown up but feel really sick depending on the road and how the person drives, even had it when I was driving myself once! I blame the wobbly roads!

Ginger is supposed to help but I've not tried it, I just suffer, get the windows down and try and look at the horizon (if I'm not driving!)

Make sure that exhaust fumes aren't leaking into the car if it's something you've never suffered from before. Otherwise the suspension was probably a bit wallowy.

If you still feel queasy it's probably not motion sickness.

As a teenager in the passenger seat or on a coach I suffered with it, sat on paper cured. Really it did work, I am sure there is some psychological reason out there somewhere.
