Often because the words written are aimed for someone in particular. Such as someone's play partner or dominant and the words or phrase was an instruction or a part of role play.

It does nt mean they are advertising themselves as whatever it is that is written.

What a couple call each other is not how they’d maybe want to be called by other people.

They’ve built a level of trust and understanding between each other to say and do that...that doesn’t mean that the next person to come along can call them that straight off.

Unless it’s written in their profile to call them that, then I’m not sure why you still wouldn’t be respectful.
