Well here I am again posting about my leg operation lol

Well it’s been 6 weeks there have been ups and some major downs as previously posted about some physical some mental but now at 6 weeks there is light.

Firstly I have had to inject self daily to prevent dvts and wear sexy knee high stockings - injections done and stockings off I can see my bloody legs haha have given em a great wash and moisturised em haha sooooo nice

Second had physio my knee brace now set to full movement yipee and booked in for 2 weeks if given all clear by consultant and bone healed and pins an plate stable can start proper physio in the gym. Obviously my muscles have disappeared and my legs half size of my other one lol but yipeee.

I even managed to walk from car to appointment and when got in car sat in front seat in past 6 weeks if gone any appointment had lie on back seat so again big achievement.

Last time I left house 3 weeks ago I cried every step and moved about 1-2 inch at a time due to pain an stuff today loads better.

Soooo great news feel great although exhausted, sorry to always post about everything just a crazy journey been on

Thanks if read chat if fancy it etc

Brighton - even Hove!

Sounds like you’re on the mend which is good news. I was in a car crash last August and only felt confident enough to meet....yesterday (for an mmmf)

Physio and pain killers and stress. A combination designed to kill off any sex drive.

Good to read you are on the mend, be careful not to overdo things and set yourself back.

Hopefully you will have broken the drought now and things will go back to normal for you.

Manchester (she/her)

I had a lower limb operation five and a half months ago. It's tough going. I'm still in physio and still get aches and pains most days. Solidarity. You'll get there. One foot in front of the other, quite literally.
