There is no terminal velocity limit on the moon, and I had an indestructible object and drop it on the moon, could it pass light speed if necessary elevation was available?

But there have been particles launched at higher speed so it can't be the ultimate speed

How do you know it's the ultimate speed? Surely you wouldn't be able to see anything going faster than light, so they maybe things doing it all the time.
