The right place

There were two parts to the question.

1 most friendly

2 least friendly

There and to the left a bit

It's the obvious answer but the one I believe in - there are friendly and not so friendly people all over the country without there being a single best or worst place.

I do think the further north you go people are maybe more open and less reserved than down south but that doesn't necessarily mean they are more friendly

East Sussex

I think one person's friendly is another person's intrusive.

In our travels we've found that it isn't possible to infer friendliness from location.

I'm going to say London because it has the largest population.

How many of them were born here will change the numbers though.

I've found that locals at seaside destinations always seem to be happy and friendly, but that could be because they want my money.

You have no idea how much that made me laugh...

Having witnessed a seagull stealing incident yesterday, the victim wearing a Ipswich football shirt, I'd say we've trained them well
