You need to change the settings.

Mine does as it's told.

Hefty Hideaway

Yes it bloody does. However I had the good sense to turn it off in keyboard settings before I lost my rag and threw the phone out of the window.

Mine always changes ‘bi’ to ‘no’. I think it’s trying to tell me something

Under language and keyboard options or something similarly titled in your phone settings.

My last phone couldn't turn off predictive without turning off continuous input, which I like.

Mine does exactly the same; pisses me off royally (Funnily enough though, it has gone strangely quiet as I’m typing this, as though in sheepish guilt....)

Rotherham

I switch predictive text straight off. I can't get on with it at all. It changes perfectly good words for incorrect ones. What a pile of crap. It's infuriating!

Mine has two different functions - predictive, which stinky dimly simply offers alternatives, and auto-replace, which corrects. You can have pigs without the other it seems.

Aww duck where did that pig cone from? Lol!

In the middle

Mine has a mind of its own, I type something out and it somehow thinks it knows better and corrects things to make complete nonsense of what I wrote in the first place

My Samsung does it a lot. It also auto changes the word I typed wrong, then corrected, back to the wrongly typed on.

It's bloody annoying.
