Dear Friends Fabbers and Forumites.

I was wandering through the town today when I realised I had my shirt not tucked in.

Good heavens I thought and tucked it in straight away .I remember in school being given the slipper quite vigorously for an untucked shirt .

So I am a chap who always tucks my shirt in . And I'm quite conscious when it's not . Even a t shirt

Yet today I published more pics with my shirt out .. Heavens.

So are you tucked in or let it all hang out

Hang out. I can't get comfy when it's tucked in

In, unless it's a summer shirt with shorts.

All really depends on the footwear and trousers!

Think it's got to be the right shirt and trousers combo.

White formal shirt out over black suit trousers definitely not, but pastel floral number over shorts or chinos oh yes.

Depends on the shirt (fit and style), the occasion and whether you're wearing jeans or trousers. Tee shirts and polo's should never be tucked in

As a personal rule I say it’s essential long sleeved shirts are tucked in whereas short sleeved can be untucked if you’re not wearing a suit

It depends.

Though I wear a shirty blousey thing for work with a pencil skirt and tights and I ALWAYS tuck it in as I think it looks terribly scruffy when it doesn't.

Leicester

I think fitted, slim fit shirts can be out as can casual shirts with casual trousers or jeans but normal work shirts that are quite loose have to be in especially with smart trousers.

"Tucked in...but allowing the current climate if it's with *shorts I'd

say a nice crisp clean shirt untucked would look lovely

It depends on the occasion and the fit of the shirt I think.

I like the look of both ...except with a tux, then has to be tucked in

Unless it's an occassion for a suit, it's untucked and probably with sleeves rolled up. And the collar and any buttons remotely close to restricting my neck will definitely be undone too

Leeds

Depends on the fit, most I buy are better tucked in.

Is there a worse sight than guys with oversized shirts hanging out half way down to their knees?

Not crisp white for me, I go with either pink, purple or quite quirky ones

There and to the left a bit

Now I also used to be shirt/t-shirt tucked in at all times no matter but in recent years have been persuaded that sometimes it's better left tucked out

Brighton - even Hove!

Formal - in

Informal - out

A tailored shirt, always tucked in

A T shirt always out
