Turn down a social?

Jump to newest

By *oodnitegirl OP   Woman

Yorkshire

I went on one last night. Had a cracking time.

We had a conversation about how they (& meets) were easier for a lady to find, which is most likely true...

Then there’s the men (newbies particularly) who ask for a club companion and then turn their nose up when we suggest to take a male pal along.

Does that extend to socials? Say you were working away from home, alone and wanted some company for dinner and a pint.. would you turn the company down if it wasn’t the desired sex?

Yeah I'd turn it down. My intentions would be innocent but I approximate female adult company as just 'friends'.

I can have a pint and a meal with my mates anytime

I would prefer a social with a fellow fabber. There’s always so much to talk about and you don’t have to be careful about what you say either

I was talking about JUST as mates though.

I wasn't talking about sex.

'SEX' Do sent even crop up in OP.

My profile answers your question but to clarify: NO I'd not be interested in meeting just for sex.

I see every meet as innocent unless pre discussed.

Is that the only reason you'd meet? Just for SEX.

No, if the lady offering seemed like good company I’d go out for a meal or drink with any promise of sex. In fact I’d probably prefer it, no pressure then.

It would depend on the person. I'm happy to meet anyone for a coffee if we get on.

I usually find that they first say 'just a coffee', then start hinting at what I'll be wearing or that they're horny so I just cancel. (This is before they've seen a pic of me just to clarify!)

In that case I have re read the original OP.

There are a few male fabbers I would meet as they make me laugh.

But I wouldn't just meet a random fabber regardless of what sex they were just because I was in their postcode.

If I found them funny on these pages I would meet them for company.

It's probably a highly unlikely scenario

I frequently get messages from people who are visiting my area and used to reply to many of them.

I would try to arrange a social meeting but the chat would turn sexual as soon as meeting was suggested.

Nowadays I just delete these messages.

It is never ladies who are visiting the area that contact me. There are a few couples and lots of single men.

"I went on one last night.

A social is a social.

I have a couple of Fab buddies I'll have a natter, a brew or a beer with when the planets align....

It does make me chuckle at group socials when people, men in particular, don't show verifications from the same sex....

Are you suggesting he pays, or we use him as a table?

He always pays, you just need to be hot on your toes when leaving coz you normally have about a 3 minute escape time before the waiter realises it's monopoly money he's left with the bill.

I have met (socially only) both male and female forumites over the years- and I have been very lucky in the main.

A couple of fruit loops (who hid it well!)

One in particular who tried to convince me over dinner that all other male forumites were bi or gay!

as goes for your first comment if you was going to take your pal along after things had been arranged to go as a companion or coupled up.

yes its cheaper that way

3s a crowd and your back at full price

on another note id probably say sorry not interested you might as well go with your pal instead

not having a go but ive coupled up often with other ladies for many club events.

had a really good night on those events.

yes ive got in cheaper.

ive left them alone to do there own thing.

have met up often to keep the illusion your a couple had a drink and a chat.

would I turn down the same sex for a dinner and a pint.

yes

as i could just go to local on my own. makes no difference

That would make it even less likely that we would want to . As others have said , we have a very busy and active social life away from swinging , so there’s no way we would want to waste time with a social when there is no chance of sex .

I, male, spend a fair amount of time away with work and would consider a social only meet with others. Mrs Fun spends less time away but I would not deny her social meets as we trust each other.

They would however only be social and if we really clicked then arrange a meet when all can be present.

Sometimes it’s nice to just be able to chat about adult subjects without pressure. Though it may also end up with a lonely night in a hotel room with an incredibly horny and frustrating ache, such is life.
