Tax man makes a grab for boob jobs

The tax man is coming wants his hands on boob jobs, tummy tucks, laser etc

He wants to take in £500m a year by charging VAT at 20 per cent.

HRMC says a lot of procedures that don't pay any VAT because they are deemed clinical are, in fact, cosmetic.

Quite how the tax man can tell when something isn't clinical is beyond me.

Twenty per cent on a boob job is not the sort of inflation I'd hoped for!
