We have it, and for it’s purpose it’s phenomenal

But we prefer to have it with THC because what that does for it’s purpose is also phenomenal

It’s tricky to get decent cbd oil, I’ve had some stopped by customs as it had traces of thc I assume, but that’s because most of the stuff available without importing has been pants so researching it and checking how to get the best imported oil is important

We will just stick to the real deal

I use it (mine has thc in it). I've had a really bad flare up today of my MS and it has calmed the pain down. Mind you, I'm on liquid and MST morphine also.

I also have a cbd balm which helps on my scars

Holland & Barratt sell it in capsule form (2.75%) you can take 2 or 3 a day.

It's not cheap at £34 for 60 tablets. But for pain relief, IBS Relief and control sleeping, it's worth every Penny.

When you say you can feel the effects of it what do you mean?

"What is cbd oil"

It's a extract of oil from cannibis (Hemp Seeds) they remove something called THC which causes the addition. So it's technically medicated that you will never get addicted too.

It's only in the last year or so become legal in the UK. But the NHS has known about it for decades.

I take it for IBS as I bloat painfully shortly after food.

I can never have sex for at least 3 hours after eating sometimes longer.

Just to clarify, and please accept my apologies if I come over as a total pedantic nerd on the topic, but I have been researching it for decades - I was first diagnosed with horrible Rheumatoid Arthritis when I was 13.

What is CBD oil - in short, it is an oil preparation of a chemical called CBD (cannabidiol) - often it is sold in a preparation of oils extracted from the hemp plant.

There are over 80 different active chemicals found in the cannabis / hemp plant, of which CBD is one and another is called THC. It is the THC which is the psychoactive chemical that some people take illegally to get high (it is the active part of dope / skunk / whatever you know it as).

CBD is not psycho-active and is not a controlled substance (can only speak from UK perspective) and so it has not been illegal to possess/produce/supply it. That said, the producers usually need a home office licence to grow the plants needed to extract it from.

There has been a clamp down in recent years of stopping people selling it as a medicine if they are not licensed to do so, so not many of the health benefits are promoted.

But seeing as I am not selling it, I'm more than happy to go on about how great I have found it for the various ailments I have used it for.

Personally, I get it in e-liquid form so I can vape it in my e-cig (I get mine from a UK company called CBD Life) and I find it eases the pain I get from Rhem.Arthritis and also helps keep my IBS under control. To the extent that I use it instead of stuff the doctors prescribe (and only resort to that in extreme cases).

The stuff that docs prescribe me is nasty, the anti-inflammatory meds in particular give me stomach pains which means having to take OTHER meds prescribed on top of that just be able to take the first lot. So for me the choice is simple, a few puffs on my e-cig and few side effects versus a cocktail of different pills that punch me in the gut or make me dopey and constipated.

When I use it, whilst I don't get high in any strecth of the imagination (and as a former druggie, I'm pretty familiar with a range of highs, lol) I do still notice a calmness which comes over me and a general contentment. I have friends that use it to keep their anxiety issues under control. There are a host of potential uses you can find out about online.

Sorry for the essay, cheers if you've read all this way down, congrats if you have already discovered CBD yourself, and I suppose I shoudl add the disclaimer: ONLY TAKE MEDICAL ADVICE FROM A PROPER MEDICAL DOCTOR WHO YOU SHOULD TURN TO BEFORE STOPPING OR STARTING MEDICATIONS. (I tell my doc everything)

yeah, there is no denying that the stuff with THC in it is even more effective for my complaints to, and I sometimes get that myself.

But thanks to the total fear our stupid government masters have of looking 'soft on drugs' in front of the Daily Mail and co, I can't just get it from a nice legitimate (or even semi legit) supplier.

No, instead I have to resort to getting it from dubious sources with no assurance of quality or safety, and often get offered other naughtier things too. Grrr! I honestly think it is the only law I break, if it was legit, I would be a model citizen.
