Angelina Jolie and me

I’m watching an old movie “The Bone Collector” starring Angelina Jolie, and I’ve noticed that there’s something we have in common....dry lips.

Her lips in this movie look dry, and as I currently have dry lips from my fan blowing at me, it made me go and rootle for some lip balm.

I appear to have five different brands each with entirely different textures and tastes.

Which brand do you use? Or do you recommend I deal with my dry lips some other way?

Me and Angie need to know.

Somewhere In The Ether…

Vaseline is good on lips for dryness and chaps. The best I ever used though was a honey based lip balm I purchased when visiting an abbey. The monks made it there

Snap! I have both of those ones! I went with some blistex for quick application though.

Vaseline is a beauty essential, agreed.

Oh I want monk-made lip stuff.

Try Barnaybouche Balm. It is not easy to get hold of but it is very nourishing.

I’m not sure what to say about the lip balm thing, it’s rare I need it and when I do a couple of swipes with the closest one will clear it easily but I looked that film up and it looks really good so I’m gonna go watch it, thanks for the film tip

Halifax

I have big flappy ones that go beyond dry if I'm not careful. They deteriorate to the point where they get actively sore!

I did use the molton bown beewax stuff, but now use that Carmex stuff. About a teeth of the price too. Woo!

Vaseline just ended up accelerating the bruised lips thing, to the point where I could feel salt crystal forming on my smackers each time I reapplied.

Soz. Boring post I know..
