I think sex addictions should come below a lot of other mental health treatment such as depression and anxiety ,

I think sex addictions should come below a lot of other mental health treatment such as depression and anxiety ,

just my opinion

As sex addiction is quiet often driven by depression and anxiety then why shouldn't it be treated?

And this habit of devising league tables of who and what should be treated is a very slippery slope

As long as it is diagnosed correctly then those suffers should receive treatment but alas I fear the undeserved will end up giving them bad press.

I’ve been to sex addicts anonymous. An awful time in my life. They are a separate but worthwhile organisation so why they can’t just refer on to them is beyond me.

AA , NA , weightwatchers , and all manner of other addictions are freely out there , so what can’t SA be treated the same way as any other addiction ?

I think an individual suffering with any form of addiction should get NHS treatment.

If it does become available on NHS, each Trust will decide where it sits in their priorities. Like with other illnesses and treatments , it will be a postcode lottery.

Having sex addiction may be caused by depression and anxiety

It take the mind of what they are trying to cope with normality. People with bipolar. Have high sex drive than normal.
