Ooooh...I bought that too, and yep...it's messy!

I always wanted the Barbie styling head. In fact I wanted Barbie and Sindy but my parents couldn't afford it so I got the market equivalent: limbs that couldn't bend and hair you couldn't comb.

Christmas was about baby Jesus for me when I was little and having fun with bros, sisters, aunties, uncles. It was decorating the tree and wrapping little thoughful gifts.

Ok a new bike would have been splendid but I knew that was never gonna be possible and was just as happy with the one my Dad put together from collected broken ones.

Enjoy the magic, enjoy the family and friends, the presents are unimportant compared to the love.

I have asked for an 18yo Swedish Au Pair but Mrs Red keeps saying no.

I know that secretly she's sorting it for me and she will arrive this year wrapped in a big red bow and tinsel.

But if she cannot manage it this year - there's always next year
