no matter

I have been shut in my house with the windows shut and the fans going since last Thursday. Normally a sun worshipper I am absolutely not enjoying this any longer.

Bit concerned now that I wont enjoy my Spainish holiday in two weeks, though at least there will be the Med to swim in.

I'm fucking miserable, I literally want to cry every time I see that flaming ball of bastard appear in the sky again but I can't because my tears evaporate in the heat. I hate it too, I work from home so i've been splitting my working day since last week. 6-10 & 7-whenever. Walking around like a zombie but it does mean I can dip in & out of the kids pool with a beer during the day. Or just stay in the cool indoors & watch movies or whatever.

I like it, but my skin doesn't! I am the wrong colour for spending time out in it! But I do, just carefully and for short periods and using suncream.

Having to put jeans and trainers on for some of my work is horrible. When I can wear summer dresses and sandals it's ok- even if I get a bit sweaty!

I’m a sunlover so I’m enjoying it although a tad too warm today. I actually have a decent tan without paying to go abroad for it!

I have a secluded garden and a rattan day bed so I’ve taken full advantage of naked sunbathing topped up my Vitamin D very nicely!

Hosed myself down naked in the back garden, earlier - shame there's 50 feet of sun-boiled water in the pipe, before it gets nice and cool.

I like a bit of sunshine but this is getting silly - 8:10pm and 40 degrees outside - 36 in the house. Bedtime is gonna be shitty again.
