BRIGHTON, UK

England reached world cup final, and the national patriotism and interest that it would cause.

Heavens forbid it should happen.

As game is being played ,the Queen or prince Philip falls I'll or worse passes away.

Would BBC ,ITV interrupt the broadcast ? Would the players wish to continue? Or would the news be held back till after the result ?

Hhhhmmm .....I know its an odd thing for forum, and yes I probably have to much time on my hands ha ha .

Oh by the way I,m anti royalty and would not wish it.

They'd probably run a wee newsflash ticker along the bottom so you can switch to another channel for the news if you want.

If national patriotism does increase due to a football win, the "patriots" will be accused of being racist for some reason. I've lived in many countries and I just don't understand why so many Britons have such an aversion to being proud of their country.

I think as long as they keep possession of the ball and keep it tight at the back, the unexpected death of a royal shouldn't have too much of an impact, as long as Harry Kane keeps orchestrating attacks from just behind the front line.
