So as a single guy on fab it’s obvious that the numbers game is definitely not in our favour as there are so many guys, likely all chasing the same profiles on here.

What does it take to stand out ??

- profile pics?

- profile info ?

- Whitty status ?

- try, try, try again

- less is more ? Or is more better (pics)

- less is more ? Or is more better (veris)

Well there’s my thoughts for the day lol

I think that it is different for everyone...

Different strokes and all that... which is just as well... cos there would be a handful of guys doing really well while others did not do well at all...

There and to the left a bit

It's a combination of all those things coupled with some originality, getting yourself "known" through the forums or chat rooms, and various other factors.

There's no magic formula that works for everyone - so best you can do is present the best possible side of you, remain positive, accept that you're not going to appeal to everyone and you're on the right lines even though there are of course no guarantees.

Too often single guys on here seem to think there's a catch all profile that will work and instantly appeal to everyone - it doesn't work like that at all

Slough Windsor ish

The people that stand out from the crowd for me tend to be those with good, well written profiles, a couple of nice pics and generally giving a positive aura with their status or forum posts. Sadly where the forums are concerned they all seem to be miles away but some have such an effect that we would consider a club nearer them and travelling to meet them.

Pretty much this. I’m me and I’m no different in person than I am on here. If people like that then I go from there. It’s not a numbers game if you’re just being yourself.

Oh and abs, they help too
