Had to register my car for work today and came across one of those middle age people, probably just getting back into work, who's got a very minor contractor administrative role but seems to think they're the CEO of the effing parent company!

You know the ones, who's come across them and how did they behave?

Non of that corporate sort of bull shit in my line of work for me. Totally alien to me. Come in, do my job for the hours booked and go home at the end of the day. Vary rare I even see any management/office sorts. Just my fellow brothers and sisters who do exactly the same as me.

My 1st thot was "ur middle aged urself " x. Much as I don't behave it and get told dont i look it I'm afraid i am as well. Altho my grandaughter says I'm old but cool. Not sure if thats a compliment or not
