I’d say it was a half decent performance, England had control of the ball about 80% of the time but it’s hard to play against a team who are openly assaulting your players every chance they get. Bunch of dirty bastards. Even one of their coaches shoulder barged one of our players as they came off. Disgusting behaviour.

It must be hard to play football against a team that arnt really trying to play football.

Columbia waited till the 77th minute till they got a cross it. They hadn't tried a counter attack before. They hasn't attacked with possession and numbers going forward until then.

England had tried and tried to break them down and it would of been simple if that yellow was a red.

I don’t think it’s harsh at all, the moment the high press went he dropped the midfield back ten yards and told them to defend for 15 minutes, that’s all they had to do. That goal was coming. That said who cares? We may not be the best team in the world but we are in the World Cup quarter final, on a sunny Saturday afternoon! The carnage will be immeasurable

I agree Mcguire had a brilliant game, Stones and Walker (apart from the sloppy pass) looked good. As a whole I thought the defensive unit worked well.
