Where on earth is the respect shown to the referee?

Absolutely pathetic childish behaviour. Players should be sent off the pitch if they argue with the ref.

I was a semi pro rugby player for years. It was generally only the captain allowed to speak to the referee. A few years back one of my team mates called the referee a cheating cunt and got sent off. Our team manager made him train with the junior teams for a month to teach him some respect and manners. That’s how things should be done.

Blame the referee ..There are laws in the game of football he could use, ungentlemanly conduct etc, he'd only need to use it once in the game and it would stop.. .
